Important partners in cooperation are e.g. the career and recruitment services, study counselors and the alumni of the Turku University of Applied Sciences along with the student union’s trusteeship workgroup and educational field associations. The most important function of the sector is to further students’ acquisition and strengthening of professional identity. Factors contributing to this are participation in diverse career exhibitions, educational field association work, alumni activities and the study program of professional growth.

Another significant function of the sector is to support labour market -focused studies and the cooperation of education and the labour market.  Supporting elements are e.g. Jobstep, the employment and information service of the Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences and Wäkipyörä personnel services.
