The student union looks after student interests in the social political sector by taking care of matters regarding student health care and well-being as well as matters of living and finance. In 2009 TUO continues to improve student health care just as in 2008. TUO aims to increase the students opportunity to get information regarding health care as well as centralising health care facilities. TUO also aims to hire a study psychologist. The social politics representative along with the student well-being team actively find out about students wishes and ideas as well as student health. Knowing the students wishes helps the team to organise events that promote their well-being.
The team cooperates with the university student unions by arranging the traditional Well-being week that will be held in the autumn.
