Membership is worthwhile
Anyone who is student of the Turku University of Applied Sciences can become a member of TUO, the student union of the Turku University of Applied Sciences. In the beginning of 2010, TUO had over 3900 members.
Membership benefits with the student card
Every member gets a SAMOK student card and a valid student card sticker from TUO. As a member of TUO one gets versatile and money saving membership benefits by presenting a student card. The money saved can amount to hundreds of euros in a month.
Joining is easy!
The easiest way to join TUO is to press “Membership form” in the left menu. Fill the form with your information, add a photo and pay with your Finnish bank account. If you do not have a Finnish bank account, you can print the joining form here, fill it, pay it by cash or in internet and sent or bring it to the TUO’s office in Lemminkäisenkatu.

How to join in: ONLINE: Fill the form here, add an electronic photo and pay with your Finnish online bank account. PAPER FORM: Print the form here, fill it, pay the amount in bank of internet banc account, add a paper photo and sent the form (with photo) and the receipt to Turun ammattikorkeakoulun opiskelijakunta – TUO, Lemminkäisenkatu 30, 20520 Turku. You can also wisit our office and pay with cash.
It takes about 3-4 week for the student card to arrive. We will sent you an email when it has arrived to your students-email. You can get your card from these locations depending where you study.

Turun ammattikorkeakoulun opiskelijakunta - TUO on Turun ammattikorkeakoulun opiskelijoiden oma lakisääteinen edunvalvonta- ja palveluorganisaatio. TUOlla on yhteensä noin 4000 jäsentä viidellä eri paikkakunnalla: Turussa, Loimaalla, Paraisilla, Salossa ja Uudessakaupungissa. Opiskelijakunnan jäsenyys on vapaaehtoinen, mutta liittyessäsi saat lukuisia etuja opiskelijakortillasi.
